Paul lives and works in London.  Founder and then-Baritone John Ewart approached him after a church vocal solo in 2005 and asked if he would fill in as the Baritone for the Christmas season while he wintered in Florida.  While still in Florida, Ewart "dumped the whole thing on him."  Paul has since assumed Ewart's position as the quartet's organizer.  Oswalt has been in several church choirs as well as his high school choir in Centerburg, Ohio.  He has also been in numerous plays and musicals during and since high school.  Paul also helped the Singing Buckeyes Barbershop Chorus win 15th in the 2019 International Barbershop Convention.  It was during his 2-year stint with the chorus that he met Steve.
